Kappa Mu Epsilon, or KME, is a national math honors society. Trust me its more fun than it sounds! We meet ever other week on Wednesday night at 5:30 and then eat dinner together. We have funny math jokes (yeah they exist), learn about career and internship opportunities, and have guest speakers talking about math related things.
KME is a great way to get to know your fellow math majors and other people who enjoy math. Outside of meetings, we have several other events including an annual Bonfire and an integration bee, its like a spelling bee but with integration. We also host a poker night with MAA each semester and have various game/movie nights. These events and meetings are open to anyone, not just initiated members.
We are the Mo Eta Chapter at Truman State University. The national website is: http://www.kappamuepsilon.org/
