Kappa Mu Epsilon, or KME, is a national math honors society. Trust me its more fun than it sounds! We meet ever other week on Wednesday night at 5:30 and then eat dinner together. We have funny math jokes (yeah they exist), learn about career and internship opportunities, and have guest speakers talking about math related things.
KME is a great way to get to know your fellow math/stats majors and other people who enjoy math. Outside of meetings, we have several other events including an annual Bonfire and an integration bee, its like a spelling bee but with integration. We also host a poker night with MAA each semester and have various game/movie nights. These events and meetings are open to anyone, not just initiated members.
We are the Mo Eta Chapter at Truman State University. The national website is: http://www.kappamuepsilon.org/
